I’m excited to start this new “Inspired By” series, where I’ll be sharing my favorite interior designers and their impressive work that continues to wow me. To start this series off, I’m sharing the work of Rachel Halvorson who I discovered via Instagram a few months ago. I continue to check in on her projects and love seeing her completely transform a space with her design expertise. She provides insight into the design process by sharing mood boards and different textiles that she compiles before embarking on a project.
Her style has a certain romantic elegance and authentic nature that I hope to mimic in my own home one day. I love her use of vintage and one of a kind pieces that help give a space a unique personality and welcoming feeling the second you walk in the door. What I love most about her work, is her ability to master the act of blending rustic elements with cozy and light filled pieces to make a house a home.
After scrolling through her projects I’m feeling so inspired to start making a mood board of my own… I cannot wait to design my future home!
